Join us for our first Women of the Chamber event of the season as Elizabeth Peavey shares techniques to incorporate your breath and body, as well as your brain, in all forms of communication — from a keynote to a cocktail party and from the boardroom to the break room. Elizabeth's tips will benefit professional women in any stage of their career.
Elizabeth Peavey served as lecturer of public speaking at the University of Southern Maine for over 20 years. She now provides communications training to companies and organizations in fields ranging from finance, law, and health to the arts, education, and advocacy. She’s a frequent keynote and guest lecturer at conferences, schools, and associations across the state, and beyond. Her one-woman show, My Mother’s Clothes Are Not My Mother, was awarded the Maine Literary Award for Best Drama. She’s also the author of three books and countless print columns and features.
