Are Environmental Regulations a Help or Hindrance in Achieving Climate Change Goals

All over the country, states are passing aggressive new climate change goals aimed at driving a transition to clean energy. However, fifty years’ worth of state and federal regulations and public expectations may not be conducive to such aggressive timelines. Our panel of experts will explore and give examples where the process may not allow us to hit the targets, in an informal, facilitated discussion.

Panelists:

Elizabeth Swain - POWER Engineers

John Carroll - Consultant (formerly of AVANGRID)

Jeff Thaler - University of Maine School of Law
