It’s that time of year where we send out our e-invite that is filled with the date and time and content of Verrill’s annual employment law seminar. Remember that fun-filled, day long seminar where participants have the opportunity to engage with like-minded HR professionals, catch up on the most up-to-date happenings in the the labor and employment legal landscape, and generally listen to a group of attorneys laugh at their own jokes? Well it won’t be surprising that this year we are foregoing an in-person gathering. We are taking every precaution to make sure our clients and our community stay safe during the pandemic and as a result we have moved this year’s seminar to a remote model. Fear not, however, we will not be asking friends and clients to sit for 8 hours straight and zoom in with us, but instead will be breaking up the seminar into bite-size pieces providing participants with the information they need to navigate the ever-changing labor and employment landscape as well as CLE and SHRM credits to meet any licensing requirements that participants may have.
