This position plays a critical role in supporting and implementing advocacy campaigns and initiatives on behalf of NRCM.

Maine’s broadband, construction, clean energy, and related infrastructure sectors are expanding with the infusion of federal funds through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Plan and Inflation Reduction Act. This unprecedented funding opportunity calls attention to the need for a robust and trained workforce to complete these projects successfully and advance Maine’s climate and infrastructure development goals.
In support of these growing sectors, this position will lead infrastructure workforce policy development; planning and coordination across multiple state agencies, workforce development partners, and other key stakeholders; and, assist in the implementation of these plans.

Research, interpret and apply applicable laws, Commission rules, regulatory principles and Commission precedent.

Objective: The Composite Boat Building curriculum is designed to provide students with a structured learning environment in which they can become knowledgeable and proficient in the practical application of the fundamental principles of construction and manufacturing techniques in the composites industry, primarily focused on the Marine Trades Industry
The program instructs students in the fabrication of composite components and the construction of commercial products, including small, modern boats, using various non-wood materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, and natural fibers such as flax.
