Register to join the Roux Institute for their Smart Summit from January 26th-27th at the Portland Museum of Art and Bowdoin College. Our Director, Eric Howard, will be a panelist in the first session on Friday.

Bowdoin College has sold Maine renewable energy credits in exchange for Midwestern based credits to invest in carbon reduction projects, as advised by CES. This funded two EVs and twelve new EV chargers on campus.

Maine leads the country in recycling performance with a rate of 67% for a range of materials, resulting in $262 million in economic benefits. We could even be better: Eunomia Research & Consulting and Ball Corp. Report.

A $2.8 Billion initiative to boost renewable energy in Maine and New England seems to have died. Aroostook County clean power project needed a transmission line, and while the Legislature and Gov. Janet Mills signed off on the line and associated wind farm project this summer, others did not.
