Alex Urquhart is a Research & Modeling Manager at Energy Innovation, where he provides analysis to help develop state, national, and international energy policy. Alex has 15 years' experience in policy analysis, project management, energy, and basic science, with work spanning solar permitting, radioactive waste storage, and CO2 sequestration. Through collaboration with regulators, planning boards, academics, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs, he has learned to communicate with both technical and general audiences. Alex lives in the Bayside area of Portland, just a few miles from where he grew up.
