Leigh LaMartina

Leigh LaMartina is the Director of Legal & Compliance and a Senior Project Manager at the Biodiversity Research Institute (BRI), where she leads organizational legal strategy and serves as a senior project manager for environmental research and permitting projects, particularly those related to renewable energy development. She manages multi-partner efforts that bring together scientific, operational, and regulatory components to support effective project delivery.

Before joining BRI, Leigh worked across law, project management, and program operations, supporting a wide variety of businesses and nonprofits. She holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. in International Human Rights & Ethics from American University.
