Special E2Tech Series in April
Because of developments in Washington, E2Tech is planning two special sessions to discuss impacts and actions. They are scheduled for lunchtime on April 10 and April 24. Since the situation is fluid, the actual content won’t be available until April. You can register for the series by clicking here.
If you are curious about how the tariffs and other developments in Washington are impacting energy pricing in Maine, visit the GEO website for the pricing data that E2Tech collects each week. Surprisingly, since election day, it has not changed much.

GEO is reminding tax-exempt entities they have the opportunity to make use of federal clean energy tax credits that historically only were available to individuals and the private sector. Due to the uniqueness of this opportunity, The Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) and Governor’s Office of Policy, Innovation, and the Future (GOPIF) are offering a limited-period technical assistance program to help raise awareness and educate eligible tax-exempt entities about the ability to access federal clean energy tax credits. (more info here)
GEO and GOPIF want to make sure that any direct pay eligible entities that completed eligible projects in 2024, or which are scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2025 are aware of these credits. The most common eligible projects include investments in solar, geothermal and electric vehicle (EV) charger installations, or EV purchases.
If you are a tax-exempt entity that may have an eligible project, or you are a developer or contractor that supported a potentially eligible project, please fill out this survey so they can assist you. Some Member and Partner News
